So, you've done a tandem and you realized that it wasn't enough for you or maybe you want to start your skydiving career with an AFF Jump. Here are just a few key reasons why you should come to Skydive Orange for your AFF training.
Safety First
- We always put safety first while still keeping it fun.
- Our student equipment is updated regularly and maintained by local FAA certified riggers.
- And of course we are a USPA member drop zone and as such follow USPA’s safety recommendations and training standards.
The Integrated Student Program (ISP)
- We teach students how to skydive using the most comprehensive program in
the sport. The ISP was developed right here at Skydive Orange and is the
AFF training method recommended by the USPA.
We Specialize in Skydiving
- At Skydive Orange, we don't just cater to tandems and first jumps. We have the staff, equipment, and experience to accommodate
training beyond a first jump. We are focused on the whole skydiving
experience.
Dedicated, Experienced Personnel
- We have a staff of experienced AFF instructors who have been at Skydive
Orange for many years. Our instructors stay current with today’s training
methods. Since we have very little turnover, the instructors here will be familiar with your progression through the program. Click HERE to read more about our staff.
The Super Otter, Mr. Fabulous
- We have a full time pilot and airplane, a Super Otter - the largest and
fastest jump plane in the area which flies up to 13,500 feet above
ground level.
We are a Club
- Unlike
many other drop zones, we are not just interested in profit margins. We
are always looking for people to join us at Orange, and help us to be a
better place to skydive
Advanced Training
At some drop zones, once you have your "A" license you're on your own. Here at Orange we try to promote continued learning.
- We have organizers to help teach both belly flying and free flying on
weekends and arrange larger events and outside specialists on a regular
basis.
- We have instructors who arrange trips to the ParaClete wind tunnel for additional skills development.
- We have our own USPA AFF course director who not only runs our AFF program
but also arranges Instructional Rating courses for Coaches and
Instructors.
