Come to Orange and Learn Something New!

At Skydive Orange, we sponsor RW & Freefly load organizers for experienced jumpers most spring, summer, and fall weekends. Most of our coaches and organizers are home-grown Orange talent, but we also have a number of people from all over the country and the world who have decided to make Orange their new home. We love the idea of growing a new crop of talented and safe fun jumpers. When you visit, be sure to find out who is organizing and join in the fun!  There will be a signup at Manifest. You can also check out the jump schedule to see who is organizing in advance.

Sit Fly Coach & RW Organizer
I started skydiving in April of 2009 and have just over 425  jumps (mostly RW belly jumps) and 20 hours of tunnel time.  I'm a USPA coach and I enjoy organizing RW 2-Ways, 3-Ways, and 4-Ways, as well as teaching beginning sit-flying.  I am willing to jump with anyone and everyone anytime (even if I'm not organizing).  Just Ask!  All I ask in return is that you follow three simple rules: be safe, progress, and have fun!

I started skydiving in 2007 and got my license at Skydive Orange.  Over the past 5 years, I've made over 500 jumps and gotten my coach rating.  I love RW and try to make each jump a learning experience.  I've participated in several RW scrambles, RW camps, and Virignia Parachute Council competitions.  I've had the opportunity to jump with world class organizers and would love to share the skills and tips that I have learned from other jumpers.  I am also a member of the current Virginia Women's Formation Skydiving State Record.

I was born in Uruguay in 1968.  I have over 1,000 skydives and I have been jumping at Orange for the last 8 years.  I love to freefly in groups or just one on one.

I did my first skydive in November 1998 and was immediately hooked. My first few years I did a lot of RW and shot lots of video. Then in 2003 I became an AFF instructor and have been jumping with students ever since! I have worked as an AFF Instructor, Videographer, Coach and Manifest.  I am a VA State Record holder and VA Women's State Record holder in formation skydiving. When I'm not jumping with students or doing RW, I'm trying to learn how to freefly. I look forward to jumping with you at Orange!

I got my skydiving license at Orange in 2008 and have almost 400 jumps and my coach rating now.  I love RW and have organized RW scrambles, participated in VPC, RW camps, bigways, and am a member of the current Virginia Women's Freestyle State Record. I love to teach and get people into the air experiencing the joys of RW flying.

RW Coach & Organizer
I'm originally from the Netherlands, but now live in Arlington, VA, where I fly F-16s for the Air Force. I organize formation skydiving groups internationally and hold multiple large freefall formation world records. I also participate in canopy formation and camera flying.  In addition, I am a Skydive University Coach.   I've been an organizer for Exotic Sky Adventures since 2000 and have organized during boogies in Borneo, Ecuador, Thailand, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Mozambique and the Philippines. I've also been a P3 team-member and will be the main spotter for the 253 (Feb 2012) and 500-way (Feb-Mar 2013) attempts in Dubai.

I have over 900 skydives (over 500 FreeFly jumps) and have been skydiving since 2002.  I like to split my jumps between FreeFlying and RW and I'm actively working on my head down skills.

I earned my A license at Skydive Orange on July 10, 2005.  Since then, I've made over 500 skydives.  I'm on the fence about which discipline I like best.  Fortunately, I don't have to choose! Jumping with newly licensed skydivers has always been very important to me.  It gives me an opportunity to give back to the sport.  I love watching people learn new things, and I try to help newbies gain confidence so they can participate in larger jumps.  If you're at the DZ and you want to jump (even if I'm not organizing), introduce yourself!  I normally split up my day between freefly and belly, so I'm up for just about anything!

I’ve been jumping for many years, and I still enjoy bringing people together in the sky to stretch their limits and excite their imaginations.  For me, the fun is not the formations of each individual point, but rather the transitions from one point to the next.  I love to fly, and as an organizer, I strive for equal-equity dives, meaning everyone gets to fly, and everyone is challenged.  Hope to share the sky with you :D

Freefly Coach & Organizer
My first jump was in 1985 on a round parachute. I became a USPA member in 1999 and I have around 5,000 jumps, almost all of them freeflying. I enjoy helping new jumpers with their sit and head down skills, and I focus on one on one coaching and freefly organizing. In addition to skydiving, I love flying airplanes and working on my freelfying skills in the tunnel.

I got my A license at Skydive Orange in 2004 and since then I have accumulated over 700 jumps and am an AFF instructor. I live in Laurel, MD and when I'm not skydiving, I'm a rocket scientist working at NASA.
I enjoy RW and participate in VPC, scrambles, bigways, and am excited to help organize others!

I've been jumping since about 2003 and have about 700 jumps, most of which have been on my belly. In about 2007 I returned to Orange, where I'm an AFF Instructor and videographer, but I love doing 4-way, 6-way, 8-way, whatever way. Organizing RW at Orange is a blast and a great way to help everyone improve their skills.

Yo! I was lucky enough to grow up on a dropzone and begin skydiving at age 16. Since then I have amassed 750 jumps, 35 hours of tunnel time, and a spot in the 2010 Women's Vertical World Record. I am brand new to the Orange family and stoked to be a part of such a fun group of people. Freeflying is my passion & I'd love to share it with you!

700 skydives (approx 450-500 Free Fly), 10+ hrs Tunnel Flying, 2008 Sit-Round World Record in Eloy, AZ, USPA Coach
I got my nick name in 2003 when I started skydiving in Louisa, VA (stick around after sun set and I'll tell you the story at the tiki bar).  My wife Cat and I moved back to Virginia from Arizona in 2010 and Skydive Orange is our new home.  I enjoy belly flying but freeflying is my flavor of choice.  I love meeting new people and flying with everyone from all abilities...in groups or 1-on-1.  I can help you get on your feet and flying with your friends or put together a funky fun way.  If you're looking to have some fun and spread the love, then come grab me and let's fly!
