DZ Life

At Skydive Orange, everyone is welcomed with open arms and greeted with smiles.  It is very rare to find a quiet night after sunset when the jumping stops.  We have both outdoor and indoor showers to freshen up before the night begins.  You are able to set up a tent with little trouble as space is readily available.

Many gather around the fire pit or crowd the tiki bar for dinner, drinks, and sharing the days events.  We have a lighted horseshoe pit, and in the summer you’ll almost always find an inflatable pool to relax in after a hot day.  Group dinners are common where someone volunteers to shop and cook, usually at a small cost (much less than going out to eat).  If you choose to skip the DZ dinners, a group can usually be found heading into town to grab a bite to eat.

We have a couple of local preferences including sushi and a great Mexican place with the best Colorado Chili on the East Coast.  Once returned, many gather around the four community fridges for a relaxing frosty beverage.

We only have one rule regarding frosty BEvERages: if you open the fridge you must contribute to the M&M jar with a donation.

We are serious about safety and everyone must follow the rule of “8 hours from bottle to throttle” – fun jumpers, visiting jumpers, staff, and pilots.   Come and check out Skydive Orange to jump and join the family.
