Skydive Orange is a club-run drop zone operating out of Orange County Airport in Orange, VA. We are a
USPA group member drop zone. We have been in continuous operation since 1977, making Skydive Orange one of the oldest club-operated drop zones in the country.
We sponsor load organizers for experienced jumpers every weekend. You will be able to find a freefly or belly organizer every Saturday and Sunday putting large groups together or coaching smaller groups. We also have frequent visiting organizers. So far in 2011, we have hosted Melanie Curtis for freefly coaching and organizing, Andreea Olea and Darren Burke for wingsuit organizing, Laura Wagner for a freefly camp, and we held a 12-way invitational belly camp. We host skills camps throughout the year, including events such as Scrambles and mixed RW/canopy accuracy contests.
Next year is already shaping up to be amazing- we'll be having a Cinco de Mayo Boogie May 4-6 and our annual Orange Boogie August 18-20! Stay tuned for details!
Safety Day is Saturday, March 10th. We'll be having a full day of presentations, give-aways, and of course, jumping!

Club Membership
We currently have over 110 club members, with new members joining every month! Although membership is not required to jump at Skydive Orange, if you're considering making it your home, it's certainly encouraged!
There are a number of reasons to become a SOI Club Member:

Things to know:
- AADs are required.
- We check all visiting jumpers log books and reserve repack dates.
- Rental gear is available for $30/jump.
- Packers are regularly available for fun jumpers.
