Places to Eat
Feel free to bring food and snacks from home, or pick something up on the way. We have covered picnic tables in the front of the hangar- perfect for watching landings while you wait. There are a number of restaurants that will deliver to Skydive Orange; ask at manifest to see their menus. There is also a small deli - Gas 'N Stuff - that makes sandwiches to-order just 1/2 mile down the road toward the town of Orange. Please keep in mind that NO ONE may consume alcohol on the drop zone until after the last load of the day, regardless of whether or not you are jumping.
There are also a number of affordable, casual restaurants within the town of Orange near the intersection of Rts 15 and 20. Some of Skydive Orange member favorites include:
  • Mario’s or Mama’s (Italian)
  • El Vaquero (Mexican)
  • The Silk Mill Grille  or The Light Well  (American, Sandwiches, Salads, Pasta)
  • The Hornet’s Nest (BBQ)
  • Happy Garden (Chinese)
