Dell Computer User Reviews, First Computer Purchase advice

Although I paid lots extra for Dell Express Tech Support, plus extended service warranties, when I first got my Dell Dimension 2350 desktop computer I had a few very basic questions and all they could do seemed to be like they were Googling my questions or something. It seemed as if their tech folks were unfamiliar with Windows XP Pro. All they wanted to do was try to sell me more accessories and more tech service. Never again will I buy anything from Dell.

Now I have CPU cooling fan troubles, and although I paid lots extra for "Dell Express Tech Support", after about a 10 minute wait, instead of having my call answered, I got hung up on.

I had much better luck with my old Tiger Systemax computers, and I have friends who are quite happy with their Gateway computers. I'd give these other brands a try.
