Winter hours are mostly just Saturdays and Sundays, but we will try to accommodate other days if we can. In 2010 we plan to jump Wednesday through Sunday starting late May depending on interest. All jumps are made from our SUPER OTTER , which flies all day long Saturdays and Sundays.

MONDAY, JANUARY 18, 2010 Thanks to everyone who came out today- we flew 87 slots on 5 loads, including a few tandems and AFFs.

We plan to jump both days this Valentine's weekend, February 13-14, 2010. We plan to jump the Otter Saturday & Sunday starting 9 AM each day on all weekend days for the foreseeable future.. I suggest you verify we are jumping as planned before driving to Orange.

MANIFEST HELP WANTED weekends- Email if you are interested. This involves signing in licensed skydivers, communicating with the pilot, fueler, checking jumpers' paperwork, and making sure the plane flies on time. All day weekends, somewhat flexible schedule. If you are good at fitting round pegs in square holes, Square pegs in round holes, and coordinating a changing schedule on an ever changing basis all day long while tending to a stream of customers, this job just might be for you!

AADs are mandatory at Skydive Orange. In fact they are mandatory at all leading Virginia and Washington DC / Maryland area skydiving places!

Operating Hours- There is more weekday activity in the summer. See When do I arrive? for student arrival times. Contact us and check that we will be open before you come to skydive.

We plan to jump the Otter all day long Saturday and Sunday every weekend year round weather permitting! Weekdays, our schedule varies greatly from day to day:

WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY - by appointment in the heat of the busy summer season, when we have a full time Otter pilot available, ready to fly the Otter if there is enough interest, which can work well for progressing AFF students.

Planned Weekday Jumps:

This Schedule helps LICENSED SKYDIVERS know when we plan to fly the planes for student skydivers so licensed skydivers can join us for WEEKDAY $19 OTTER JUMPS! We mostly do weekday jumps in the summer from mid May through Thanksgiving, and just weekends at the regular price the rest of the year. Any time we can rustle up a few weekday Otter loads, $19 weekday Otter jump prices apply for experienced skydivers to 13,500ft., with.$15 low passes to 5,500ft!!!! This schedule lets first time Tandems and repeat AFF know when we plan to jump so they can schedule their jumps on the best jump days.

NO WEEKDAY JUMPS ARE CURRENTLY PLANNED, but when we are jumping weekdays, Email or call before coming out for weekday jumps! They might be cancelled if we expect low attendance.

Tandem jumps are available 7 days a week, sometimes on short notice, sometimes we need to know way ahead. Tell us when you'd like to jump and we'll try to arrange it. Check our Events Calendar for planned long weekends and such.
