Skydive Orange Videographer and Tandem Instructor Travis Haley Age: 29 Total jumps: 1000+ Tandems: 100 Camera: 700 Free fly: 400 B.A.S.E.: 2 Years in sport: 5 Ratings: USPA D license, Tandem Instructor (Sigma, Vector, Eclipse), Coach, Military Freefall Jumpmaster, Military Freefall Tandem Master I will never forget my first jump…staring out over the Arizona desert at 13,000 feet with my toes hanging off the ramp of a C-130 Hercules.  On my first Military Freefall jump (HALO) my instructor shakes me and asks if I’m ready to jump… I answered him with “I guess so?” from that day I stepped off the ramp into another world…the world of flight, a world you can’t describe to someone unless they feel it for themselves. I say I’ll never forget my first jump…but with skydiving being a second nature activity now, sometimes I do forget what an exhilarating feeling it was on my first  jump, that’s why I love flying camera and doing Tandems the most.  I get to be there and capture that student’s first time awesome experience. The art of human body flight is amazing, every jump I learn something, it not just a sport its an art!      Travis’ 2 cents:  Never get complacent-be safe, always leave yourself a way out, and have fun man!
