AFF Instructor, Coach and AFF Rating Examiner, USPA Safety and Training Adviser (regional)

Steve Hetrick is Skydive Orange’s AFF Manager (the licensing side of the school), conducts Coach and AFF rating courses (He trains the instructors) and says his two cats keep him sane.

When did you start skydiving? May, 1980 – Steve has 9,000 jumps and 116 freefall hours

What has skydiving taught you: That people are very diverse, but very much the same in many ways.  To quote Stephen Hawking “We are all different.  There is no such thing as a standard or run of the mill human being, but we all do share the same human spirit“.

Why do you think everyone should skydive at least once in their lifetime: To experience the joy of true human flight.
