Night Jumps

Cost: $45 per jump

There’s only 20 slots available, meaning when you register through Burble, you’re committing to two jumps ($90 total). If you only need one jump, it is up to YOU to find another person who will fill your other slot.

• You must have a C license AND 250 jumps to participate.
• You cannot be on sunset load that day, as you must attend the briefing at 6:30 pm with your gear fully packed.
• You must make one successful jump during the day, prior to night jumps and check-in with manifest after your day jump is complete.
• You may not use Orange rental gear to conduct the night jumps.
• You may not be on sunset load that day, as you have to be at the briefing at 6 pm with your gear fully packed.

If you would like to participate but are just shy of the requirements, you just need to get cleared by one of our S&TA’s.

The FAA requires night jumpers to have a light visible for at least three statute miles displayed from opening until the jumper is on the ground. USPA recommends using constant-beam lights rather than strobes, which can interfere with night vision and depth perception.

We also require a lighted altimeter, clear goggles, red and green chem lights (or led equivalent) and a whistle.

We strongly recommend a flashlight or light on your helmet pointing up to facilitate checking the canopy. A bright LED pointed at the canopy during the entire canopy descent illuminates the parachute for other jumpers, greatly decreasing the chance of a canopy collision.

If you register and do not show, your money will still be used to send the plane up i.e. no refunds.
