Skydive Orange sponsors RW and Freefly load organizers for experienced jumpers most spring, summer, and fall weekends. Many jumpers are home-grown Orange talent, but many have come from far and wide to make Orange their new home. Check out the Events Calendar to see who is organizing or sign up at Manifest.
I started jumping at Orange in 2006 and have ~2000 jumps (~1700 freefly). I really enjoy coaching freely and love watching people progress and hone their skills. If you're thinking about learning the basics, or if you want to get in on some fun freefly jumps, come talk to me and let's jump!!!
I started skydiving during college in 2012 at Skydive Orange and now have around 500 skydives. After graduating college I worked for 3 years as a tunnel instructor at iFly VA Beach and have a couple hundred plus hours of tunnel time. I love coming to Orange any chance I get and look forward to any opportunity to fun jump or organize.
I am in love with 4way and any FS flying in general. I competed for two years with Carolina Dynamic in 4-way FS and we placed 3rd in Intermediate at the 2014 USPA National Championships. I have around 750 jumps and believe that success in skydiving comes from always wanting to learn more and challenging yourself. My favorite thing is having a good hard laugh during freefall.
I have 700+ skydives and enjoy free flying, angle flying, and wing suiting. I compete in freestyle open for indoor skydiving and am apart of “Va Beach Boys,” a tunnel team sponsored by IFLY VA Beach to represent the United States for indoor skydiving. I love teaching and helping people grow in the sport.
I have been jumping since 2007 and have accumulated about 900 jumps. I have stayed dedicated to belly flying and have recently begun focusing on the competitive side of skydiving. I love jumping with anyone that wants to learn and try new things.
I got my A license at Skydive Orange in 2004 and since then I have accumulated more than 1,100 jumps. I am a member of Blockwork Orange, an 8 way FS team. I live in Laurel, MD and when I'm not skydiving, I'm a rocket scientist working at NASA. I enjoy RW and participate in VPC, scrambles, bigways, and am excited to organize others!
I've been Jumping since September 2006. I have more than 1,500 jumps. I am a belly flyer and I have competed at Nationals in 4-way, 8-way, & 16-way every year since 2009. I am a coach and an AFF instructor. I love helping people do their first jump and seeing them fall in love this awesome sport! When I am not jumping I am an environmental lawyer on Capitol Hill.
I started skydiving in 2010 while living in Montreal. Since then, I've done about 1400 skydives (mostly freefly), 100-200 hours of tunnel, and have participated in many world and state freefly records. I look forward to helping other skydivers progress while organizing some fun jumps at Skydive Orange!
I'll do any type of skydiving...even RW...but I'll be sure to wreck the exit so it feels like I'm freeflying! Originally from New Jersey, I started skydiving at Cross Keys. After moving to Virginia I started focusing on flying in every orientation possible. At the moment, I have a little over 1,500 skydives and love to tunnel with anyone willing. It's been incredible seeing the freefly community continue to grow and improve here in the state so if you want to be a part of it...come find me at the DZ!!!
I have 750+ skydives and enjoy free flying mainly 2/4 way VFS and Bigway. I have competed in 2 way VFS for USPA Nationals for 3 years and I have bigway World Records in head down, sequential and head up flying. I was apart of the Redbull “Flygirls” team. I enjoy my big and little Sisters in Skydiving and love flying with all the ladies in our sport at all levels!
I started jumping in 2011 and have ~2400 skydives and an unknown amount of tunnel time! My passion lies in flying small canopies, I LOVE SWOOPING, but I also love MFS and VFS! I have competed at USPA Canopy Nationals and USPA Free-fall nationals. I love jumping with folks of all skill level, and seeing folks progress in their own skydiving! Swoops up
I’ve been skydiving since 97’, well if you count a single static line from 3grand, 3 tandems in 2001, it took me a decade before I knew what I was missing in life. The freedom that skydiving gives you and the great opportunity to meet people whom are just as passionate as you are. Earned my license in 2009 and haven’t missed a year since. Over 1600 skydives in most disciplines but mostly freefly and angle. Organized for several Carolinafest boogies and I am looking forward to meet and jump with the folks of Skydive Orange!
The largest tandem skydiving center near Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland.
