ESSENTIAL SKILLS CANOPY COURSE

This course meets the requirements of the B license application as well as completes the canopy proficiency card required by USPA. You do not need to be an A licensed skydiver. You must be cleared to self supervise and have completed your hop and pops. If you have never attended a formal canopy course, this course is for you as well.

There will also be a canopy packing demonstration for those needing it and at the end of the day, the B license test
will be administered at no charge. YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY! A canopy course, packing class and the B License test all in one day!

The canopy course starts at 8 am but be there at 7:45 am because there is paperwork involved. Please do not be late and show up packed. It is recommended to get a packer for the day to help expedite the day.

PAYMENT DETAILS

Each 1-day class is $170 per person per day not including the 5 jumps, any gear rental if necessary, or split travel fees. You will pay the instructor the day of cash / venmo or paypal. This course is conducted rain or shine. If the jumps cannot be conducted that day, they may be completed another day but the classroom portion will not be repeated.

CANOPY COURSE REFUND POLICY

If the course is canceled for any reason by the instructor, you will get a 100% refund. If you cancel under 24 hours, you will not receive a refund. There are special circumstances that arise such as family emergencies that exceptions will be made for.
Jumps will not be refunded, they will remain on your account for you to use later. If you are a no-call no show or cancel under 24 hours, your jumps will still be used to fly the airplane, to meet minimums. The price of lift tickets will be $31 to offset costs of additional passes, etc.
