“From the moment I walked into the Skydive Orange hangar I knew this would be an amazing experience. The receptionist was very welcoming and helped me get settled in for the legal mumbo jumbo. The instructor TJ was extremely professional but very relaxing the entire time during the pre-jump briefing. His expertise and demeanor helped put me at ease.
All of the equipment at Skydive orange looked new or at the very least lightly used. The facility itself was very clean and neatly organized.
I opted for the HALO jump from 17,500 ft. so we were the last ones to get off the plane. Free-fall is absolutely exhilarating. After just a few seconds the sensation of falling disappears. Then there is nearly a minute and a half of solid free fall at around 120 mph. TJ guided my hand to the chute, I pulled, and then a moderate jerk of the chute inflating. Not violent by any stretch of the imagination but assertive in a reassuring way. The entire glide down TJ took me through a few maneuvers and communicated clearly the entire time.
The video and photo products were nicely produced and the quality is excellent. I’ll treasure the footage for a long long time.
I WILL be back. Sooner rather than later.
