Master Rigger & Examiner - AFF Instructor - Equipment Sales - Program Development

Meet Kevin “Rahlmo” Gibson!

  • AFF Instructor, FAA Master Parachute Rigger and Examiner
  • Been jumping since 1976 and a regular at Orange since 1997.
  • Stopped counting jumps at 10,000.

My goal is to help keep Skydive Orange “orange”, meaning an action-packed refuge from the stresses and disappointments of day-to-day life and where anyone who wants to can fit in.

“I knew I wanted to be a skydiving instructor since before I started skydiving from listening to stories from my then father-in-law, Jack Demme, tell me about his life and adventures–which included running a small drop zone in Edgewood, Maryland. I have never lost my love of teaching. This year, I’m especially excited about Paul Winner’s plans to revive canopy piloting, and I plan to be part of that. At one time, we were home to #7 in the world!” – Kevin Gibson

The instructors in the AFF program are on par with any top-tier coaches in any sports discipline. They do very well at breaking down and teaching skill-sets and instilling the confidence needed to execute a dive successfully.

The largest tandem skydiving center near Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland.
